I have many years of experience working with a variety of populations. I have been a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Virginia for over fifteen years. 

 

I facilitate individual, couples and family therapy for those ages 14 and up.  My philosophy is that throughout life, we all face challenges, some of which we can use the support of a counselor. With the support of a counselor and the motivation of the client to create change, life circumstances can be markedly improved and personal growth, achieved.

 

I also offer consulting services related to education and 504 plans for children suffering with depression, anxiety, ADHD, asthma, and food allergies.

I primarily practice from a cognitive behavioral perspective; however, I believe that it is important to pull from different theories based on the individual client's needs. There is no one size fits all, so we'll work together to create goals and tailor a plan that is uniquely, you.
